Always Remembered
Blue was part of an excellent line from FTW Drakeshead Evie and my brother Andy’s FTCH Endacott Shelf.
Having had an excellent career including being a regular member of the England Team, he fulfilled one of my ambitions when placed Top Individual Labrador at the 2008 CLA Game Fair. Blue qualified four times for the I.G.L Retriever Championship We sadly said goodbye to Blue in April 2016; a true favourite of mine, who was as honest a dog as the day is long. Until we meet again my friend. |
Trigger did exceptionally well in working tests and field trials and was a Two Day Open Trial Winner.
In 2013 he qualified for the I.G.L. Retriever Championship and also the Irish Retriever Championship. In November 2015 Trigger was entered in two Open Field trials; he was placed 2nd and then FIRST in the One Day Open. Trigger unfortunately died in December 2015 (far too early and unexpectedly), but will be remembered as a joy to watch work with his fabulous tail action. He sired several very good litters and will be very sadly missed. |
FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION
DRAKESHEAD DEANA Deana was a lovely bitch. A willing worker who won her first two day Open Stake at only 17 months old. She remains one of the youngest dogs to run in the I.G.L. Championship; which she did four times and achieved the coveted I.G.L. Retriever Champion status at Sandringham in 2003. Deana even accompanied me to the 2010 IGL for good luck as my last visit to compete there was when I won with her. Sadly Deana died earlier in 2014 at the age of 14 and is fondly remembered. |
