Andy is a lovely, big strong dog who is very stylish; not surprisingly with his sire being Beiley
(FTCH & Int FTCH Beiley's Aguzannis Of Fendawood).
A joy to work, Andy was my Novice dog for the 2016 season.
He did very well in his debut trial, being placed 3rd at the IGL Retriever Society Novice Stake at Ganton in October 2016, followed by 2nd place at Midlands Gundog Novice stake in December and then
First place at Bristol and West Working Gundog Society novice stake in December 2016.
I am enjoying working him and seeing him progress.
Following the England Selection day in April 2017, Andy put on a great performance and was selected to represent
England in 2017.
I was very pleased with Andy's performance at the C.L.A. Game Fair July 2017. He did everything asked of him and scored 109/120 points over 6 challenging tests - making him joint 2nd top scoring dog of the competition!
In August 2017 David and Andy competed in the Highseas Charity Event (sponsored by Sneyd's) in aid of Motor Neurone Disease. As part of the winning team, they helped raise over £1200.00 for this very worthy charity.
Unfortunately Andy has not secured many trial runs in 2017 but has featured in the awards achieving a few placings, including 2nd at the SEGS Two Day Open Trial on the Balcombe Estate.
Andy hasn't had many trial runs in 2018 season so far. He was awarded a good 2nd place at Dove Valley 2 Day Open and I was pleased with his performance at this rather hard going trial.
I was very happy with Andy's performance at the Tyne Tees and Tweed FTA Two Day Qualifer at Whitfield Estate, Northumberland. which he WON and gained qualification to the 2018 I.G.L.
Andy worked tirelessly over the full three days of the Championship and I was exceptionally pleased that he was one of only seven dogs (from 58 starting) to complete the final retrieves of the event and was awarded a Diploma Of Merit. I am very proud of his performance.
Andy had limited runs in 2019 but WON the Midland Gundog Society's two day trial handled by Noah Parsons -
this makes Andy a Field Trial Champion and qualifies him for the 2019 I.G.L. Championships where he did very well in a field of extremely good and experienced dogs and handlers.
