Meg is a daughter of Rocky (FTCH Meadowlark Big Rock Fendawood)
I ran Meg in the last trial of the the 2019 season with the Barton On Humber Field Trial Society.
The Novice trial was a mixture of drives and walked up in mature woodlands with some quite nasty bramble in places.
Meg took the whole day in her stride picking six straight A retrieves, coming 2nd to Terry Prentice’s dog who had the opportunity of two good eye wipes.
We will be heading to Scotand in 2020 for the early grouse trials.
Meg did me proud on her start to the 2020 season by attaining 2nd place at Lothian and Borders 16 dog Novice Trial at the Mayshiel Estate on grouse.
Meg then got a run in South West Scotland Gundog Society's novice trial at Dunsyre in October.
The ground was very testing for the dogs and I was exceptionally pleased with Meg's performance which saw her take a worthy First Place.

In June 2021 I decided to enter a working test with Meg to get started back into competing mode ready for the trialling season. Thanks to The Arfon Working Gundog Club who hosted this at Anglesey. It was a good day and I was pleased that Meg was awarded 2nd place - pipped at the post by FTCH Fendawood Harold!
Following a successful trialling and shooting season, I entered Meg in the Shropshire Gundog Society Open working test in April 2022. I was happy with Meg as she worked well throughout and was awarded a goood 3rd place.
October 2023, Meg ran a great trial at Carmarthenshire's 2 day Open Field Trial and was rewarded with first place - THIS QUALIFIED MEG FOR THE 2023 I.G.L. where she did well but was not in the awards.
